Project Coordination.

The art of orchestrating dozens of trades so that a project delivers on the promised date, without the principal ever having to arbitrate a tile delivery delay at 11 pm.

Project Coordination is the discipline of fluidity. The art of holding a schedule despite contingencies, weather, contractor failure, programme amendments, supply delays.

It is also the most operational of construction professions: the coordinator lives on site, reads the schedule daily, anticipates trade interface conflicts, arbitrates progress priorities.

Our methodology

Master schedule using critical path methodology (CPM/PERT) with explicit float and contingency identification. Structured weekly site meetings. Synthetic visual reporting to the principal. Trade interface conflict arbitration.

For complex projects (hospitality, healthcare, public infrastructure), we deploy a four-tier schedule granularity, from master schedule to daily zone-by-zone planning.

The core discipline: interfaces

85% of construction delays come not from individually deficient contractors, but from defective interfaces between trades. The electrician waits for the plasterer. The tiler waits for waterproofing. The finisher waits for everyone.

Anticipating these interfaces is the difference between resolution in four days versus four weeks. That is the value of a senior coordinator.

Independent coordination vs main contractor coordination

Many general contractors offer in-house coordination. Such missions, conducted by the executor itself, are not by construction neutral, they prioritise the contractor's interest.

Independent coordination, mandated by the principal, exclusively defends the principal's interest. That is the position we systematically adopt.
