Founder & President of Expert Agencement. Civil engineer. Head of Civil Engineering, Abu Dhabi. A career between Morocco and the Gulf.
To build, for me, is not to raise structures, it is to keep a promise. Every detail counts. Every deadline binds.
Hassan Hafidi was born on 6 June 1975 in Goulmima, in southeastern Morocco, into a family where professional rigour was a transmitted given. From an early age, his attraction to construction, to material, to calculation, to the precision of plans, directed him toward the engineering profession.
He entered École Mohammadia d'Ingénieurs in Rabat, the most selective civil engineering institution in Morocco. He graduated with an unambiguous orientation: not merely to master structural calculation, but to understand the project in its full depth, technical, economic, human.
Aware that the standards of professional excellence are defined as much abroad as at home, Hassan Hafidi continued his training at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), then completed a specialised programme on Smart Cities and Future Infrastructure at Duke University, in the United States.
This dual exposure, Swiss engineering for calculation precision, the American school for systemic vision, durably shaped his method: a project is never merely a technical object; it is always an economic, environmental, and social object as well.
In 2007, Hassan Hafidi founded Expert Agencement in Casablanca with a clear conviction: there existed in Morocco a demand for high-end project management, residential, hospitality, institutional, that was not adequately served by the existing offer.
The firm developed first on demanding private residential commissions, then progressively extended its scope to premium commercial work and institutional projects.
From 2009, Hassan Hafidi extended his activity to the Gulf Cooperation Council region. He joined one of Abu Dhabi's largest real estate developers as Head of Civil Engineering, a function he exercises in parallel with his leadership of Expert Agencement.
In this role, he supervises the design and delivery of landmark urban projects: exceptional residential districts, next-generation infrastructure, large-scale public facilities. This experience nourishes the firm's practice in Casablanca, which benefits from a continuous transfer of methods and standards.
I believe one does not become a great builder by building a great deal, but by building rightly, project after project, with the same attention to the first square metre as to the last.
Hassan Hafidi divides his time between Casablanca and Abu Dhabi. He is married and a father, and remains deeply connected to his Moroccan roots, which he considers the matrix of his method and his professional ethics.
